BCCI July 2016 Business Luncheon

BCCI July 2016 Business Luncheon

July 15, 2016

Given the economic challenges facing Barbados there is rising concern about the availability of social services and government’s ability to maintain them in the future. The radical transformation needed to drive economic growth and achieve sustainable development and social cohesion requires all hands on deck.  BCCI believes that a different operating model must be employed.

Join us at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre for the BCCI July Business Luncheon, on Tuesday 26 July, 2016, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., as we hear from guest speaker The Most Rev. Dr. Charles Jason Gordon – Roman Catholic Bishop of Bridgetown, who will discuss the role of the private sector in defining a new social contract that ensures economic and social progress for all.

Profitability of a business consists of how we treat shareholders, employees, the community and the environment. Discussion will surround how the society and social services – education, health, transport, welfare etc. should be provided in the future for the wellbeing of all of our people. Whose responsibility is it -government’s, the private sector‘s or both?

Registration is now open. Forward your completed registration form to the BCCI, using [email protected], no later than 3 p.m. on  Monday, 25th July, 2016.

We look forward to hosting you.
