PRIVATE SECTOR CONSULTATION ON TRADE FACILIATION

FRIDAY, JUNE 6TH 2025 AT 9:00 A.M.

The Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) will be hosting a Private Sector Consultation on Trade Facilitation on Friday, June 6th, 2025, online via Zoom starting at 9:00 a.m. for the benefit and interest of all businesses engaged in manufacturing, exporting, and distribution and relying on containerized cargo.

The objective of the Conference is to solicit wide range of views to benefit from the opportunity to transact business with the Bridgetown Port, Customs and Excise Department and Outside Government Agencies on a three-shift basis every day of the week as well as Preclearance of Cargo to potentially lower costs of exports and imports.

This paradigm shift in trade facilitation is part of Government’s effort to promote Port Efficiency and enhance trade facilitation, which the BCCI has been advocating for its members and the business community for many years and is now on the horizon.
