With over 20 years’ experience, Charles Ifedi is a tested and proven multi-disciplinary leader, entrepreneur and strategic innovator, having built and led organizations towards achieving their technical and business goals; and is a respected figure in Africa’s electronic and digital payments space.

Charles is the founder and CEO of eBanqo Inc, a multi-channel customer engagement and conversational AI provider. Prior to eBanqo, Charles was the pioneer CEO of Verve International, Africa’s premier payment card brand, as well as a Co-Founder of Interswitch –Visa acquired 20% of Interswitch in November 2019 at a valuation of $1b. Before
Interswitch, Charles worked with Accenture and PwC, as well as American Express.

Charles is a First-Class Honours Computer Science graduate from the University of Ilorin. He also has an MBA from Cranfield University where he was awarded the Odgers Leadership Prize. He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Georgia State University.
