The most important business forum in the Greater Caribbean region, aimed to strengthen the ties for a better integration in the global value chains and to diversify the business areas in Latin America and the Greater Caribbean.

The main activities of the Cancun Forum are the business round tables between buyers and exporters from the region but also seminaries and workshops on building a regional strategy to project our business opportunities to others markets.

The business matchmaking sessions consists of planned business meetings designed to connect important regional companies with the Pacific-Asia, African and European markets.

The main objective of the Forum is the Business round, so it will be present in all the activities.

Business matchmaking sessions are a simple and efficient mechanism of planned face-to-face meetings between buyers and exporters from the Greater Caribbean region, Latin America, Pacific-Asia and Africa, all of whom have been previously accepted and approve for participation, which takes place once a given number of appointments has been confirmed on the website, generating an atmosphere favorable to business. The aim of the business matchmaking forum is to boost exports of regional products with potential buyers; Caribbean and foreign companies can review buyers and accept meetings through the website. For Cancún Forum 2017 40 buyers from Central America and the Greater Caribbean will be present, together with 120 Caribbean exporters.

Around one thousand business meetings will be held. ProMéxico’s offices abroad will start the promotional effort by identifying the purchasing firms in the region interested in participating in the event. Based on demand, ProMéxico’s offices in Mexico will invite Caribbean firms with exportable products to participate.

All participating companies should register and will receive approval on the basis of the products and services they offer, their export capacity, and the requirements of international buyers.
