The Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) congratulates Prime Minister, the Honourable Mia Amor Mottley, QC, M.P, on being named among TIME Magazine’s List of the 100 Top Influential People 2022.

Prime Minister Mottley continues to be the voice of representation for Barbados and the Caribbean Region. Her mandate has been to develop our country so that we always ‘punch above our weight’ and she is leading by example. She is a champion for Small Island Developing States (SIDS) who are vulnerable to natural disasters and who by virtue of their size remain at the mercy of their international counterparts.
